Duke BRITT, officiating, assisted by Rev. Floyd RUTLAND. She was born Aug. 7, 1925 in Wetumka to William Henry and Nettie (CRAWFORD) STIDMAN and died Nov. 14 in Tulsa at the age of 76. She married Raymond Lee HAMMER on June 17, 1944 in Schulter and together, they pastured the Freewill Holiness Church in Henryetta. He preceded her in death on June 23, 1994. Mrs. HAMMER worked as a home health care provider with Access Home Health for the past two years. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three daughters, Vernona Irene SMITH in 1989, Patty Annette HAMMER in 1964 and Margaret Ludean HAMMER in 1854 twin sister, Wanda HILL; brother, Leroy STIDMAN; sister, Dawni WHIKHAM; and a great-grandson, Terry David SMITH. Survivors include one son, Raymond Dean HAMMER and wife Linda of Henryetta; two daughters, Mary Darlene SMITH and husband Preston of Wainwright and Anna Bell BRITT and husband Duke of Dewar; four grandsons, Ricky Don BRITT, Darin Bruce SMITH and Larry Douglas SMITH, all of Dewar, and Tracy David SMITH of Henryetta; three granddaughters, Tammy Lee BROWN and Kimberly Ann KIGHT-URIBE, both of Dewar and Rae Lynn HAMMER of Henryetta; two step-granddaughters, Heather CARTER of Keyes and Shawna SMTIH of Wichita, Ks.; three brothers, seven sisters, 23 great-grandchildren and a special sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ann and Bill KESSINGER of Tahlequah. Pallbearers were Will FRYE Jr., Buddy STIDHAM, Blake BARNETT, Randy STIDHAM, Larry BLEVINS and Jimmy WEBSTER. Honorary pallbearers were Jess COPELAND, Bobby WEBSTER and Dale NUCKOLLS. Interment was at Salt Creek Cemetery in Wilson under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home of Henryetta.
