She was born Jan. 11, 1913 in Social Hill, Hughes County, to Joe and Maggie MCKNIGHT and died Dec. 16. She married George H. COSPER on July 11, 1928 and to his union 11 children were born. The couple lived in and around the Non area in the early years of their marriage, then moved to Allen in December 1942. All the COSPER children graduated from Allen high school. Mrs. COSPER was a homemaker all her life. She loved to garden and grew pretty flowers until she moved into the Woodland Hills Nursing Center. She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church and had fond memories of worshiping with her young family at the Non Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. COSPER was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Arthur MCKNIGHT; a sister, Mae CHURCHWELL; an infant son, David Franklin COSPER, her husband for 56 years, George COSPER, and two grandchildren. Survivors include eight daughters and two sons and their families, Lilly Mae CAGLE of Allen, J. D. COSPER of Norman, Maxine BELL of Rancho Palos Verdes, Ca., Lettie DILLBECK of Stillwater, Ruth FINCH of Tulsa, Carolyn KLESS of Corpus Christi, Tx., Christine LOWRIMORE of Coppell, Tx., Edith BURGESS of Denton, Tx., Patsy WILKERSON of Oklahoma City and George COSPER, Jr. of Duncan; 24 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
