Dear List Members, First I want to thank all of you who hate Roll Calls for the manner in which you have handled yourself during the past few days. I am sure your delete fingers are getting a work out, I know mine is with over 50 lists having a Roll Call this weekend. For those of you who just need a break due to your mail boxes filling up remember, you unsubscribe from the list the same way your subscribed to it. I am behind on helping members unsubscribe and most likely I will not get to you till the Roll Call is over. Just a reminder for those who have yet to post their Roll Call information. Please change the subject line to give a hit of what is in your messages. If you just hit return to post your message, PLEASE do not forget to delete the old message and taglines from the earlier posting. If you are on a county list, give us a time period for your surnames...if you are on a State list you need to also add counties. This Roll Call will be over at 8:00 pm Mountain Standard time on Sunday, April 21st. If you have not posted by that time. It is to late. I thank each of you for your support of our members who love Roll Calls and your support of our list. Kathleen Burnett List Mom

I am *still* looking for a missing woman. He name Martha "Mattie" Taylor Morgan Gamble Grant. She married Abner Wayne Grant in Conway County Arkansas in 1903. They were in Holdenville by 1910 census with a son Claud(e). Wayne moved back to Lonoke County Arkansas and died 1942. I do not know what happened to Mattie. The last information I have on her was the 1920 census (haven't checked 1930 yet). Mattie had 2 daughter by Gamble: Laura & Lona. I have been in some contact with their descendents but no information on Mattie. Someone must know something about her even if it is a story/rumor/tale that doesn't make any sense. Thanks for reading my "tale" and I wish everyone might get their *lead* from this roll call! yvonne _______________________________________________ Yvonne Henson WK: 719-265-0087 HM: 719-597-0298 "Be Prepared, It wasn't raining when Noah built the ark." Dear List Members, the Roll Call is going great. Just keep remembering to post Roll Call in the Subject line and add a hint of what your posting is about. This is the best way to assure that your posting will be read. Don't forget the dates and if you are on a State list, don't forget the counties. Also, if you just click on Reply, don't forget to delete the message from the last person along with the tag lines. I appreciate each of you and how smoothly our Roll Call is going. Hi, I am researching the following surnames, Ellis, Wells and White. These families moved to Dustin from Arkansas about 1900. Ellis is my brick wall. Jackson Refelix Ellis married Dialphia Jane White on 17 Jul 1892 in Baxter County, Arkansas. Jackson's father was Joe Ellis, his mother, possibly, Catherine Jackson? Joe Ellis died before Jackson was born and Jackson'smother died when Jackson was about 8 yrs. of age. Jackson had 1 sister, that I know of, named Catherine, about 8 yrs his senior. Jackson lived with Catherine for a time after the death of their parents. He , then, lived with the Whites, which is how he and Dialphia met. Jackson and Dialphia had two children: James Harvey Ellis, b. 25 Aug 1909, married Pearl Henry Elmira Mendoza Ellis "Doza", b. 4 Nov 1913, married James Harvey Wells Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Connie Wells Karle
