I have Para Lee's death certificate and unfortunately it did not have her maiden name on it. The only possible lead I received from it was it stated that she and Preston were married in Hico Texas. From my research I have Preston and Para Lee having 8 children, Della, Eula, Goiney, Shelby, Laura, Chester, Brice, and Hanford. On the 1910 census it shows Della and Eula living in the Samuel W Snell household and being listed as step-granddaughters. Samuel Snell's wife being Susan E. I have found info on Samuel Wintersmoot Snell and Susan E. Gamble's marriage, however, I am not sure if this may be Para Lee's mother and if Gamble was her maiden name. I also found a marriage record in Hamilton Cty Texas for a Preston McNeely and Parlee Brandon in 1889 which could also be a possibility. So, I have bits and pieces but not a sure thing yet.
