HOFFMAN b. 1834 TN and Elizabeth Frances FORD b. 1838 KY, m. Fannin Cnty TX 1857, children including Oscar, William, Joseph A., Robert, Alonzo, Samuel, Eveleyn, and Dave, all b. between 1857-1879. Most of the siblings b. TX, but 2 - 3 b. AR. The 1937 obit of brother Joseph A. HOFFMAN in Montague Cnty. TX, lists Oscar as a survivor, and places him in the "Chickasaw Nation," but wonder if it also was a reference to Chickashaw, OK.
