--- bbhunt10 <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello Fellow Researchers, > > The records personally collected by DAR members are searchable via internet. Hey Barb: Thanks for the useful DAR information which I'm fixin' to send on to my lists. Best, Sandi Carter =)
Hello Fellow Researchers, The records personally collected by DAR members are searchable via internet. This includes cemetery, Family Bible, court, church, genealogies and many more records. Go to www.dar.org then click on "DAR Library." On the left click on the second choice "GRC National Index." Using the Search Box you will be able to search by Name, State, and request Book Titles. On the right of your find, click on *Ordering Page Copies, if you would like to order a copy of the record.. Sorry there is no file for Grady County only, however, you might find "Grady County" in the title of the record group. The DAR Library and Genealogical Records Committee is proud to announce exciting upgrades to the online GRC Index. Each record in the index is now directly connected to information on its source, including book title and page number. Results also link to the book's bibliographic record in the DAR Library catalog, which provides full details on the volume. These upgrades will make locating family records easier than ever. Photocopies of records in the GRC reports and other sources in the DAR Library's collection are available for purchase. For more information on ordering photocopies of records, see Search Services. Happy Hunting, Barb

Rogers, age 45 born Missouri, living in Rush Springs. I am trying to determine if this is John Franklin Rogers son of John C. Rogers and Mary Catherine Berry. John Franklin Rogers was born on May 17 1873 in Lawrence COunty, MO. His parents died in June 1879 in Bell County, Texas of congestive chills from malaria. The 1920 census also shows J. William Rogers, age 43 years born Texas, living in Ninnekah. I beleive this is John Franklin Rogers brother, James William Rogers. If anyone can help me identify these men I appreciate it. Carol
