Lorenz was born in Texas, son of Thomas D. and Catherine Neel. He married Daisy? who was born in Louisiana. Their children were Roy, Ray, and Arch. Lorenz died before 1920 in Grady and Daisy married Sidney H. Dailey and they had a daughter Lola B. who married a Morgan. Arch died Sept 1977 in Chickasha and Roy died in OK. City in 1997. If anyone has information regarding cemetery records or obits I would be very grateful. Daisy and Sidney are buried in Rosehill Cemetery. Seeking information on Lydia Matilda (Kimsey Peel ) Denson (b. ca 1880- d. ca 1914) of Rush Springs. Lydia Kimsey: 1st. married W.E. Peel to 10/23/1894 at 3rd Judicial Division IT USA No known children from this marriage. 2nd marriage 2/28/1908 to Jame Dee or W. Denson at Warford, Stephans Co. OK He was a butcher in Lawton. Two known Daughters; Ruth and Bernice (b.12/31/1908) Lydia was an orphan and thought to be an Indian. We don't know if the name Kimsey came from her original parents. When he entered service he gave Minco, Grady County, Oklahoma as his home of record. Soldier: LOREN DICKERSON SMITH Born: October 28, 1927. Caucasian Date of loss: August 26, 1951. Killed in Action When the Korean War ended the enemy never returned or accounted for over 8,000 of our servicemen. They died in their hands. That was over 50 years ago. Since that time DNA has been perfected and also they are recovering remains in North Korea. Our government is obligated to return those remains to the proper family. DNA samples have been obtained from most of the families of these missing soldiers. For various reasons some families have not been located. There are 46 families in Oklahoma that have not been located. There is one family from Grady County that has not been located. When the remains are recovered and identified they will be returned to the family for proper burial. I am just an old (76 years) Combat Veteran out of the Korean War and thankful that I did return. I consider this a very noble cause and I hope that you can help in some way to find this family. For more information on the project you may go to http://www.jpac.pacom.mil/. My part in the program is to match up the lost families with the proper agency. I will be grateful for any assistance in locating this family.
