Louis was born September 29, 1929 in Bray OK. His family is the Spivey's from the Marlow/Duncan/Bray/Bailey area. Louis and his family have lived in Alex for the past 43 years. Louis will be buried in the Bailey Cemetary, a small rural area in the Hope Community just East of Marlow. Louis and Winnie Mae (Richardson) were married in 1948 in Marlow, OK. They have 3 children, Pamela/Ben (Doherty) of OKC, David Spivey of Houston, TX, and Mike/Kathy Spivey, Chickasha. Louis has 4 grandsons, Christopher James/ and Brian Edward Doherty, of OKC and Jeremy (Jay) Michael & Kevin Edward Spivey of Chickasha and 1 grandaughter, Leslie Anne Spivey (died in 2000). Louis has 2 great-grandsons Dymitri Doherty and Gareth Doherty. Louis' mother Iva (Meridith) and father, James Spivey are buried in the Bailey Cemetary and the parents of Winnie are George Duane Richardson and Mary Dona (Bratton) who are buried in the Marlow Cemetary. Louis has 3 brothers, Richard Spivey, Marlow, James Spivey, Colbert, and Donald Spivey, Marlow. His sister, Glenna passed away at the age of 6, and is resting in the Bailey Cemetary. Louis' Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 am at the Alex Southern Baptist Chapel, Alex, OK on Saturday, July 5, 2003.
