I buy old photos myself from flea markets, look for names and then try to find family members still living to return them. I hate to see these people forgotten and thrown out. There were somebody once. Some that I can not find I keep in a photo album and wonder what their lives were like or what they did, where they came from, their stories. Good luck and God Bless

I received a postcard in the mail today that I won on eBay. I bought the real photo (early 1900's) card because I like old photos of school children - probably because I went to a three-room school many years ago. On the back of the card someone has written "Dormitory girls at Chickasha, Okla. When I searched the net for "Chickasha Dormitory Girls", I found your message when I opened one of the reference files. Now I know the "dormitory girls" are from the Chickasha School for Girls. The other postcard is a real photo showing kids of all ages posing on the side of a building - probably the "old school house" in Chickasha. Thanks for writing your message. It certainly helped me in my research. Fletch Bolsover Rollinsford, NH

Amos born 1928 in OK, was on the 1930 census as 2 yrs & 4 months old. She was not listed on her fathers orbit in 1948 so she would have died before that time. She is probably buried in the Alex cemetery or the Morris cemetery, I don't know if these are the same cemeteries or not. The father is buried in Morris and the mother is buried in Alex. Thank you for your help in getting this information for me. Rowena Vincent vibe@vci.net
