As you can see I posted this to a few lists. I am hoping to give my husband something really great for Father's Day this year. I will keep looking and posting until I find his father or until I can no long type or write. Looking for: We are looking for a Frank Knapp born about 1924 in Texas. In 1952 he married a Mary J. Buckmaster. At the time of their marriage Frank's occupation is listed a a Newspaper Reporter. They had on child, a son named Frankie Joe Knapp in 1953. In 1957 they lived in Chicago, Illinois. In July of 1957 Frank and Mary divorced. Frank was described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, dark hair, blue eyes, tattoo on both arms. On his right arm at the elbow is a tattoo that says "Baby Frankie." Frank worked at Reliable Packing Company on 47th & Bishop. Which at the time the family lived within walking distance from the packing company. We know that Frank had family in Oklahoma and Texas, but we cannot find anyone that admits to knowing him. We do not care what he may have done in the past. We do know that Frank remarried soon after his divorce from Mary and had at least one child, a girl. She was burned by scalding water on one side of her body. Other than that we do not know anything about her. Frank had three sisters, Edith, Lillian, and Doris. He also had a brother named Dan. After the divorce my husband never saw his father again, as far as he knows. Please if you know Frank or anyone in the family contact me. My husband is in his 40's and wants to know something about his father and the family.
