Though I have worked on my family history for several years now I have avoided working on the Indian connection simply because I just didn't know anything about researching this portion of my family. Now I am on a step by step learning process. I have found a roll number and card number for a Lulu Williams, age 18, 1/16th Choctaw. (I realize that 1/16th blood line means nothing as to becoming a member of some tribes, my objective is to prove family stories of Indian blood line) I am sure there is someone on the list that can help me, with what I hope is the next step. Here is what I need: Do I get copies of this info. from the National Archives? If so is there a special form to use? Where do I get the form?
