JONES, Lee Roy Medford Mail Tribune, OR 05-08-2001 Lee Roy Jones, 64, of Medford, died Friday (May 4, 2001) at his home. No service is planned. He was born Dec. 26, 1936, in Thomas, OK, a son of James and Dortha Jones. Mr. Jones was a self-employed electrical contractor in the Bay area of California until illness forced his retirement. He moved to the Rogue Valley in April from Southern California. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1960. Mr. Jones was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He enjoyed gardening, poker, golf and bowling. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Garcia, Medford, and Nancy Dickinson, Penn Valley, CA; four brothers, Jim, Kenneth, Ted, and Paul; three sisters, Ruby Hofel, Pauline Jones-Mano, and Rose Gordon; and one grandchild.
