just had to add my 2 cents<G>since ancestry.com now owns roots web, i doubt it will be long! that will really be a shame and send me back to snail mail in a hurry or else i'll just call it a day with what i have, nobody in my immediate family cares about geneaology anyway. and i'm tired of beating my head against brick walls.

Nobody in the immediate family may care, but what about the generations to come? If we give up now, what will happen later? What are we doing genealogy for? Ourselves? Our Ancestor's? Or Our descendants? Someone, somewhere has what you need....Ancestry.com, Genealogy.com, FamilyTree.com.....they all got the info. somewhere. Well you could acess Rootsweb thru ancestry. Last time I was there Rootsweb was on the site or else I didn't see it.
