Josie, You can go to your local SS office and get the application statement he made for social security. Just take his name and if you know the social or birth date or death date. Tell them what state he lived in and they will give you a copy right then, it is $7.00 but they didnt charge me anything I dont know why, maybe because I came in person to the office. hi, looked up Theodore Monroe corn in Ss death index he does not show up you need to check with ss to see if record is lost or not filed.
