LOPTIEN, Opal 'Maxine' Medford Mailt Tribune, OR 05-22-2001 The memorial service for Opal "Maxine" Loptien will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Rogue River Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Carl Bailey will officiate. Private inurnment will be at Woodville Cemetery in Rogue River. Mrs. Loptien, 71, of Rogue River, died Saturday (May 19, 2001) at her home. She was born April 8, 1930, in Blanchard, Okla. On Oct. 15, 1948, in Fullerton, Calif., she married Richard J. Loptien, who survives. They moved to Rogue River from Valley Center, Calif., in 1961. Mrs. Loptien was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses in Rogue River. She enjoyed sewing, painting, gardening and traveling. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two daughters, Linda D. Lanham, Rogue River, and Gail L. Myers, Bend; a son, Richard D. Loptien, Medford; a brother, John H. Bryant, Sun City, Calif.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
