Folks, I have just spent the most heartwarming, heartbreaking 2 hours at the OKC Memorial. I know that sounds like a contradiction but it isn't. If you haven't been, and can possibly make it, it is a must for any Oklahoman or for that matter any person. I told my son, the feeling is similar to when you see the Vietnam War Memorial. There is a great feeling of sadness over the lives lost. But the most remarkable thing I noticed was the reverance felt on those grounds. There were a large group of people there today but people were going around with tears in their eyes and it was so peaceful. As incredible as it sounds, you can't or least I couldn't hear the motor traffic on the streets surrounding the Memorial. Please make an effort if you are in the OKC area to go and see what has been there.
