Sharyn, My Mom was born and raised in the Shawnee area. I just called her about the University. She said there is/was a "Baptist University" there in Shawnee. She seemed to remember it being on the West side of town. Her cousin went to school there. I asked her about the name, and she said it was called the Baptist Univ. If I find out any more into, I'll let you know. Jackie there is still the Baptist University in Shawnee. I can't say for sure where its at tho. I have been by it once a few years ago when I went to Shawnee with a dear friend. He worked there at one time.
