For the new people - you "are not" picking up this virus or any other virus from the Rootsweb lists. Rootsweb doesn't allow attachments to be sent through their lists. The way this latest virus that is going through the list was explained to another list is: A person downloads and opens an attachment from someone they know, thinking it is safe, since they know this person. The virus then gets into your "unread" mail and sends it's self out to those people. Sometimes it will use your address as the sender, sometimes it will use an unrecognizable address. "Do Not Open" any paper clips or attachments, until you check with the person who sends it to you first. That is where this virus is getting some people as you probably recognize the sender as being from one of your lists and think it is a reply to a query or something and download and open the attachment. My new virus scanner for some reason didn't pick up the last one I received, but I recognized and deleted the attachment and email. Paula/Oregon
