Gene, THere is an Old Grissom Cemetery, 5 1/2 miles NW of Rocky, which would be close to the area of Burns Flat. It's on land that Hobart owns for it's reservour(sp?) There are M. G., Hannah (w/o M. G.) and C. W. Grissom buried there. Are these a part of your Grissoms? His parents are listed as Joseph Grissam and Dollie Capps. He married Hazel Morris 12/18/1937 in Rush Springs. He died in 1992 in Norge OK. Survivors included 5 brothers: Enos Grissam of Del City, William Grissam of CA, John Grissam of Bowie TX, George Thomas of Idabel, and Charlie Thomas of Duncan and 4 sisters: Elizabeth Lee of Hillsboro OR, Ellen Thompson of Knoxville TN, Joanne Punneo of Duncan, Cora Belle Williams of Idabel OK He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He came from quite a large family and had a large family. He had 8 children with Hazel. Gene
