    3. The following comes from the OKLAHOMA ALMANAC Golden Anniversary Edition 1957-58: Fort Arbuckle: On State 7, 8 miles west of Davis. The marker is located on the INDIAN MERIDIAN; and is two miles north of the Initial Point, where all land surveys in Oklahoma (except the Panhandle) originate. Fort Arbuckle was the new site of the military post first established in 1849. If it's real, could someone please tell me how to locate it on a map? I have a number of deeds that refer to the Indian Meridian and don't know exactly where it is. Any help would be greatly appreciate. Thanks in advance. Leslie Liddiard ----------------------------------------------- FREE!
