    3. Thank you, thank you all for helping to figure this out. "Guardian Pendentilitum" came up in County Court minutes, when the administrator of an estate was made guardian pendentilitum for the minor heirs of the estate. A little later in time, the County Court minutes listed a gentleman giving bond as guardian to one of the minor heirs, a young lady. A few months after that, the eldest brother of the minor heirs gave bond as guardian of another minor heir, a young man. The eldest brother would have been barely twenty-one. Unfortunately, this is all I know: the courthouse burned. Only the county court minutes survived.
