I might suggest that you and everyone else check that their Virus Scan is updated. This latest virus just showed up a week or so ago and some of the various scan programs took a few days to get updates to prevent the virus. If your scan hasn't been updated you will not be protected. You should always update your scanner often, as new ones are coming out everyday. Sorry, to be sending a "no, no" to the list, but this seems to be hitting the genealogy community and presenting it's self in ways that would make you think it could be genealogy related. Knowing how Rootsweb's lists will not allow attachments protecting us from a virus we let our guards down and forget that an attachment will not come from the lists. Rootsweb has a great Computer list that you can join that helps a lot on various computer problems and some wonderful people on the list willing to help. Just a suggestion I got from the other lists.
