    3. June 29, 2000 Fred Lee DAVIS Jr. Fred Lee DAVIS Jr. was born Sept. 19, 1922 in Holdenville to Fred Lee DAVIS SR. and Anna Pearl GALIMORE and died on June 8 at the age of 77. The DAVIS family moved to Spaulding in 1906 and farmed on what is known today as the Tator Hill area. Mr. DAVIS married Edna PARKS in McAlester on July 27, 1943. He was preceded in death by his father, mother and one son David Lee. Survivors include his wife, Edna DAVIS; sons Michael Lee and Charles; daughter Cheryl Ann; one brother, Harold Lee DAVIS and wife Helen of Holdenville and nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on June 10 at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel in Katy, TX. With Michael W. MCLEMORE officiating. Interment followed at the Lakewood Cemetery in Henderson, TX. June 29, 2000 Marvin "Johnny" WILDERSON Funeral services for Marvin "Johnny" WILKERSON were held June 27 at the First United Methodist Church in Wewoka with Rev. Henry BELL officiating. He was born March 7, 1950 at Holdenville to Marvin "Jelly" and Jennea (KRAETTLI) WILKERSON and died June 23 at Midwest City Regional Hospital, at the age of 50. A former Atwood resident, he attended Atwood and Holdenville schools and graduated from Holdenville high school in 1968. He also attended East Central University in Ada and graduated in 1972 with a degree in psychology and sociology. Mr. WILKERSON enjoyed ranching and farming, which he did for over 28 years. He married Brenda Joyce ROGERS on Feb. 17, 1955 at Wewoka. They attended the First United Methodist Church in Wewoka. He was preceded in death by his father on April 19, 1981. Survivors include his wife Brenda, of Wewoka; his mother Jennea WILKERSON of Atwood; one sister, Sherri WILKERSON ALEXANDER of Oklahoma City; one niece, Julia KERNEK KING of San Antonio, TX; one great niece and one great nephew; two aunts, Mary HAMMONS of Duncan and Dortha WILKERSON of Atwood; and several other relatives. Pallbearers were Jimmy LEACH, Gary DECHIELDS, Bob SHERRY, Bill CATES, Gail WILBANKS and Doug BECK. Honorary pallbearers were Ronnie BLAYLOCK, Guy MCCARN, Merle STEPHENSON, Lane RITTER, Jack SHERRY, Russell DESHIELDS, Leon BARRETT, Buddy GRIZZLE, Kenny SNYDER and Larry MILLER. Interment was in Atwood Cemetery under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville. [****NOTE: Many of Johnny's family members are buried in the Atwood cemetery.****] June 29, 2000 Hazel Noreen POTTORF Memorial services for Hazel Noreen POTTORF of Topeka, Ks. Were held June 27 at Barnett's Meriden Funeral Chapel of Meriden, Ks. She was born July 1, 1992 at Holdenville to Clarence E. and Ethel L. BENNETT BRINLEE and died June 25 at Rossville Valley Manor in Rossville, Ks. She was a 1940 graduate of Yeager high school. She married Roland George POTTORF on July 29, 1946 at Wichita, Ks. Mrs. POTTORF had lived in Topeka, Ks. Since 1949, moving from Wichita, Ks. She was a homemaker and had worked in the aircraft plants in Wichita during WWII. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter #62 of Oskaloosa, Ks. Mrs. POTTORF was preceded in death by one daughter, Lois Eileen DEWITT; three brothers, Buford BRINLEE, Glenn BRINLEE and Carl BRINLEE; one sister, Marie PETERS; and two infant twin grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Roland George POTTORF, of the home; three sons, Michael POTTORF of Sumter, S.C., Rex POTTORF of Silver Lake, Ks. And Mark POTTORF of Elmont, Ks.; one brother, Oliver BRINLEE of Holdenville; two sisters, Wauita BRINLEE of Holdenville and Evalena HOWARD of Derby, Ks.; 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
