    3. Sometime in the early 80's. Shortly before Shakey's went out of business, I was at the one on the southside. I think it was on S Penn and I-240. We're eating our pizza when my wife says, Look there's Foreman Scotty. Anyone that was a kid in the 60's near OKC knew Foreman Scotty. He had an afternoon kids show on Channel 4. It had a live audience and also a taped series. It took place on the Circle 4 Ranch. Foreman Scotty was every kids hero. He had all kinds of adventures, including going back in time and going into outer space. The spaceman was 3d Danny. AKA Danny Williams who last I heard was the morning DJ on KOMA. Anyway, back to Shakey's. I looked over and saw if was Foreman Scotty. Older and a little heavier. He was wearing the same type of clothes that he wore on the show, including the cowboy hat. If you remember Shakey's you remember that at the lunch buffet, they gave you a 10" pizza pan to put your food on. Well Foreman Scotty had one of those plates loaded up with broasted chicken and Mojo taters. To wash it all down he had a pitcher of beer. So much for childhood heroes. I heard that Channel 4 did him dirty though. They fired him and he wasn't able to get another job. I did hear him doing commercials on one of the radio stations shortly before he died a few years ago. When you go the OHS, look next to the elevators on the lowest floor. You will see an old wooden horse on display. This is Woody. On the show, all the kids that had a birthday on the day of the show got to ride on Woody. He was rescued from the trash bin at Channel 4 to be placed in the museum. Gene

    3. Thanks for the memories. I too grew up on Foreman Scotty. How about the late movies from a few years after Foreman Scotty! Vickie Neill Taylor flip@okplus.com

    3. I also watched the Foreman Scotty show along with my kids. Some of those things you just don't forget. A couple of years ago I saw Danny Williams at Affair of The Heart.. OKC fair grounds. He was doing what he has always done best, still a DJ for KOMA radio, which has been around for a while...
