Hello all! Does anyone know the directions to Parker, OK from McAlester, OK via Highway 31 or whatever is the easiest? Also the location of McCarty cemetery once I get to Parker? Marti, thanks for the link. Shows cemetery is 5-1/2 miles south of Parker in field on west side of road. Guess I'll be visiting there next week. Thanks! Leave Coalgate on SR 31. North of Cottonwood turn left onto Old US 75. Go 2 miles north turn right (east). Go 1 mile east,the road bends to the north go 4-5 miles turn left the cemetery is at the end of the road. If you get to Morrison Rd you went about a mile too far. Hopefully it is marked. It's 8 miles from hwy 31. To get to Parker continue on north on Old US 75 for about 5 or 6 more miles. Gene
