For my great Grandpa he received benefit's of $50 at the time of his death, which was 1943 & the certificate was applied for in '42. His funeral cost $131.50 part of it was paid from the Burial Association & the Military & one of his kids. The funeral home he apparently used was the R.W. Benjamin which I believe has changed names, I'd just contact one of the local funeral homes to see what they tell ya about it.
