Paula, I know how you feel. I put in a query in the CASTLE surname of the familyhistory.com. on 2/17/01. By 3/6/01 I had an answer from a distant cousin who lives right here in OK, Bixby to be exact. I was so floored when I read it. The first thing I thought was, yeah, he has the same info I do, but how do I know for sure this is the real thing. So I started corresponding and even called him at his request this past weekend. And earlier tonight, I IMd him and we had a nice chat. His wife can pretty definetely trace her lineage back to Sequoyah. He and his wife have been doing this for 20 yrs, and he is the same age as my brother. Also, this cousin is my grandmother's (dad's side) 2nd cousin. So, that's more information I didn't have and all because of that query. I believe that was the 2nd or 3rd time in as many genealogy web sites, that I've placed an "ad". The only problem is, I'm trying to break down the brick wall on my mother's side!!
