    3. Alli, What a wonderful project!! Certainly one that many researchers will appreciate! What cemetery are you presently working on. I didn't see a name, I don't t hink. Thanks. Jackie Alli <iamcheroke@filertel.com> wrote: Thanks for the links. Actually that's exactly what I'm doing........canvassing a cemetery. I've been working on & off of one for 8 yrs now. W/3 boys now its been hard to drive 35 min's into town to go do this cemetery. And at first I was writting down every head stone info. by hand to help both the cemetery owner (funeral owner) & those looking for family. The Cemetery I'm working on is currently online (someone had used the funeral records to post online) but the Funeral/Cemetery owner told me that the past records were incomplete & since I couldn't find a grave based on their info. that's why I started my project. As I said......I start w/writing down the names, but then decided that since I couldn't find a grave that supposedly is there but I couldn't find the headstone, that I'd take picture's of them to "match" & give a location. As I will be creating a "book" of sorts for the funeral home & anyone to look at & would like to eventually find a business willing to help create a "map" for the Cemetery for people to find the "sections" even more. So after I get a section down I will find a way to have it put online inconjunction w/the one that's already been listed. As just in the few months that I haven't been able to do it. I went back recently and some headstones (mostly the county bought plaque type ones) were ruined. I will pass on this info. to the funeral/cemetary owner as well so he can get them replaced and fill in the sunken graves. So its to help those searching & to help the funeral owner :) Hopefully it'll be helpful Alli :) No one page, mail list, link, library, repository or book has all the answers.
