Does this apply to McClain Co. only or can I get information for Hughes County also? My mother was born in Arkansas but never had a birth certificate but daddy got all the affidavits together to get her one for Social Security. Sadly she died before we got the birth certificate. At time they were living in Hughes County. He had a bible entry, a voting record, a school record and I don't know what else. I believe three records were required at that time (1969) as proof of birth. Thanks for posting this address.
