I am seeking descendants of A. I. and Ellen (Batson) RAMSEY. A. I. and Ellen left Linn Co., MO and settled in the Lincoln County, OK area in about 1894. Harry Son Dec 1899 S OK MO MO By 1902, Ellen and at least some of the children were in Logan Co., OK. In 1902, the three youngest children were found along a creek bank in Logan County and were placed in an orphanage in Guthrie (The Oklahoma Children's Home). In surviving records of the home, it was found that Lee Ramsey was placed with a family in or near Manchester, OK ( but not adopted), Harry Ramsey was placed (unknown where), Eva Ramsey was returned to her mother after a number of failed placements, in 1905. I am the grandson of Lee Ramsey, and would really like to make contact with descendants of any of the other Ramsey children to see if we can put some more pieces of this puzzle together.
