Hello Everyone, (I am posting to several list) I would like to connect some dots. My 4th great grandfather, Charles (Gullet or T.) Reese, Jr. (1783-1845) was married to 5 different women. He had a polygamous marriage with three sisters, Lucinda, Louise & Dianna LEVI. His 4th wife was Nancy TIMBERLAKE. His 5th wife and my ancestor was Nellie MCCOY (1798-1879). I'm working on one of the children from the polygamous marriage. William W. REESE (1815, TN-1869, Canadian Dist., OK ) married (1849 Canadian Dist., CN, IT) Rachel BREWER (1833,Flint District, IT, OK, 1865) and #2 was Nannie ROGERS, daughter of Isaac ROGERS and Taskey COOLEY. It seems that William only had one child, Susan Ann REESE (1850,Canadian Dist., OK, 10 March 1882, Canadian Dist., OK), daughter from his first marriage to Rachel BREWER. Susan REESE married William DOWNING (1850 IT, OK, 01 January 1871 IT,OK) the son of Benjamin DOWNING and Margaret RATTLINGGOURD. I'd appreciate any information you'd like to share.
