Are there any Henson people out there who just might have a male Henson who owned a ranch outside of McAlester, OK, in about the 1923 era, who married a Jennie (Cole) Watson for a very brief time????? Sorry the Mr. Henson's firs name remains a mystery.

I'm sorry I can't be more help on this particular surname but I do have a HENSON in my research but just as you have listed, I do not have a first name either. He married my 2nd cousin, Eather Dow HARBERSON / HARBISON bet. 1925 - 1930; I remember visiting her in the early 60's. She was an old woman by that time to me, I was under 10 years old. They lived near Atoka during the 60's but, at one time [I think] they lived near McAlester if I remember right! Other than that, I can't help you over his first name or whether he had been married previous to Eather or not. I'm sorry!! I only knew Eather as Aunt Eather and she wasn't even my Aunt ... she was my mother's 1st cousin. My mother was a late life child so all her cousins were 'years' older than her ... all the time! There was a Jess Henson (J.D.) Henson who lived in Plainview north of Arpelar, OK. Jess was married to Grace Hunter. He was a Freewill Baptist Minister. He lived on "Sunnybrook Farm". But to my knowledge Jess didn't own the ranch. I also didn't think he had been married twice. He and Grace died within 2-3 years of each other.
