It shook pretty good here on this ole mountain. hanging light swung pretty good and cups hanging in china cupboard swaying. Put two cracks in foundation of house. Hubby looked out window about 3-4 minutes after it happen and water in our swimming pool was still moving. Kinda scary but at least no major damage to us. were without phone service for over an hour. One thing of concern now is by Renton, Wa (by Seattle). Mudslides have dammed up the Cedar River and is causing it to back up and flood. They are trying to get the slides removed enough to get river flowing right again. They are afraid if they just break loose on their own all at once a housing division right below will be flooded. Some of the houses above the slides already have close to a foot of water in some of them. Part of hwy 101 on the coast has given way. Windows are out of the SeaTac airtower and structure damage to the pillars. They have brought in a fifth wheel trailer that is a miniature air tower but figure it may be more than 24 hours before SeaTac airport is completely open. They did let a couple of international flights land cause of low fuel otherwise most have been diverted to Portland airport. More and more reports of damage are coming in. More damage to our state capital building than they originally thought.
