Hello, I am new to the list and am looking for any information I can find on my Ggreat Uncle Charles Theobald and wife Nettie. They lived around Bartlesville in Washington county. I have been told that he used to be a driver for Frank Phillips of Phillips Petroleum Co. I heard that his name is still on the intercom at the Phillips house in Bartlesville. All I know is that he died in 1933 in Bartlesville and that both are buried there in Washington county. Does anyone know where I could write for their death certificates? Or maybe to find an obituary? Thank you, Darin
You probably have this information; but in case you don't, here is the 1930 Census information for your uncle: ref: 1930 census, Bartlesville City ward 2, Washington County, OK, ED-74-2, Sh-11A, Pg-25, 12 Apr 1930: 292/294 - Line 18; Was living at: 905 Osage Avenue Theobald, Charles G. head mw58 m-39 OH/IL/IL chauffer - Philips , Nettie Mae wife fw48 m-29 MO/OH/KY Note: There were two "roomers" living with Charles and wife. I could not clearly make out their names but looked like a Kinslow? and a Stewart? The "m-39" indicates that Charles was first married at the age of 39 and 29 for Nettie. Hi Darin, The library would most likely have a copy of their obituaries and you can get a copy of the death certificates from: *Birth and Death Certificates** Oklahoma State Department of Health Division of Vital Records 1000 N. E. 10th St. Oklahoma City, OK 74152-3551 405/271-4040 * *You can get the print out the form from http://www.rootsweb.com/~okgenweb/deathform.htm * *I will see about getting a photograph from the Frank Phillips House, I'm not far from it. * *I sure hope this helps in your research. * *Warm regards, * *Katy Hestand Washington County Coordinator ** * On 7/10/05, Darin <famseeker@insightbb.com> wrote: > > > Hello, > > I am new to the list and am looking for any information I can find on my > Ggreat Uncle Charles Theobald and wife Nettie.
