Their son, James Arnold Horn, was born July 10, 1913, in Stuart, Hughes Co. Joe died May 23, 1953, in Oklahoma City. His address at the time was 500 SW 104th. He's buried in the Resthaven Cemetery. Perhaps if I knew what townships in Hughes and Oklahoma Counties to search, that would help. I've tried every place I can think of -- Joe's a no-show for me. Thanks for any and all suggestions. 3. 1900 Territorial Census cross-reference & sketches (both O.T. & I.T.) http://www.rootsweb.com/~itgenweb/itprojects/census.htm Census data are available on microfilm, CD, or via online subscriptions. Matching this data with locations in present-day counties is, however, something of a challenge because what is now the state of Oklahoma was still Oklahoma Territory and Indian Territory in 1900. Today's counties were created at or after statehood [1907]. The information provided on this site should help you match census citations with locations in present-day counties or help you determine which Territorial ED to check if you know the present-day location.
