    3. Hi Becky, If the county you are interested in is missing - we need a volunteer. Do I see a hand up anywhere? Look here http://marti.rootsweb.com/okmarr/marrpubl.html Do you have anything to add? Some marriage records are transcribed from microfilmed records, some from the original indexes a page at a time. Sometimes they have been published and if you know about that and I don't have it listed athttp://marti.rootsweb.com/okmarr/marrpubl.html let me know. Sometimes there is a volunteer listed on the Genie Angel, Random Acts of Kindness, Genealogy Helplist, or Genealogy Forum that will do the legwork. If you have marriage indexes to add to the OkGenWeb Marriage Project let me know. 3. Hmm...I wonder if our store might know? there was a film made here in Twin Falls, Idaho called Breakfast of Champions I think. Made by Bruce Willis' brother, starred him. It never showed in our town. He had a special showing in a town 2-3 hrs. away at his bar, but I didn't think it was that great of a deal, especially when they were charging 20 bucks just to see it. 1. [OKGEN ] WAR LETTERS
    2. Good morning.........I have just purchased and am reading the most amazing book. Some of you may already be aware of "WAR LETTERS" edited by Andrew Carroll. This book began in ernest after a 'Dear Abby' column requesting that anyone willing to share their letters from service men and women be sent to Mr. Carroll for his compilation project. He received over 50,000 letters that Americans had been saving from, having received them from friends or loved ones from the time of the Civil War through Bosnia, today. Some were copies and others were original. The letters were written by the everyday citizen, both men and women, who served in all our wars. They wrote about life and conditions as they served our country. There is an index in the back, with the names, of those letters he accepted for publication. Although I've not found an ancestor among those listed.....you might. I have no connection to the author....I just found the book and intend to give it to my nephew, a history major, as he graduates from college next week. Sharyn

    2. Ilka
    3. Hi, I'm new to this list and hope some kind soul will be able to help me find our Great Aunt. I'm looking for Annie Stuff (MS Mathieson), husbands name was Herman. Annie was also married to a Hugh Fraser. Annie may have been known as Annie Brown, as she was married in Scotland to Alex Brown. (Don't know what happened to Alex) Have been trying to place her where-a-bouts in the years 1920-1930. Trying to establish when she immigrated to the US (could have been around 1910 also) If someone has access to the census records for those years, a look up would be greatly appreciated. Annie may have been living in Muskogee OK. Annie was born in Scotland in 1856. In 1920 she would have been 64 and 1930, 74. She left the US at the age of 80 returning to Scotland and died in 1940. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Ilka Hunter WI
