I was wondering if anyone out there could possible look-up a James Talley (Tally) & either a Sara Elizabeth OR a Martha Jane (Janie) in Muskogee OK in the 1900 or 1910 Census. Or at least point me in a direction where I might find something out. Thanks in advance. Diane O'Quinn [email protected]

I'm really confused on this family. I thought Charles Juzan married first Margaret, then Phoebe, both sisters of Nitakechi and Okalahhoma. I also thought Margaret mother of Delilah, Mary, Pierre, Rebecca, William, Jackson, Lucy and Eliza. And Phoebe to be mother of Ramona, Narcissa and Sybill. I see very conflicting info on the internet.....does anyone know the accurate lineage? Thank you. R/Steven ........................................... S T E V E N M I T C H E L L

This number is only for Oklahoma County. Possible other counties will do this, but I don't know which do, if any. 405- 270- 0082 and ask for the records archives to look up a marriage or divorce from 1907 on. Thanks, Leona
Hi, I am very interested in typing obituaries for my county. How do I go about doing this and getting them to where they are accessed on the web? Cheryl -- _______________________________________________ Sign-up for your own FREE Personalized E-mail at Mail.com http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup

Gene, Maud sits half in Seminole County and half in Pottawatamie County. It is kind of split down the middle. Be sure to check both counties if you are researching there. I indexed a Maud history book. You might want to check Marti's site for the index. Let me know if you need a look up from the book. -----Original Message----- From: Gene Phillips [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, March 24, 2003 1:02 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [OKGEN ] Maud Ok At 12:11 PM 3/24/03, you wrote: >Im sorry but I'm not sure how to post a New Message so I just hit the reply >key, I was wondering if any one new where Maude Oklahoma is or was. After many years of nothing there has been a break in looking for my husbands father's family. Is there anyone that can look in the Texas births for a Frank L. Knapp born about 1927, Lillie L. born about 1922, Alma E. born about 1924, and a Doris born about 1930? There maybe something in the death records for a Dan or Daniel Knapp but I have no dates for that. These people fit the family info we have except for the birth date of Frank, which his marriage license has April 25,1924 n them. We know that his mother lied about her age to get married so it is possible he lied too. This should have all been in Reagan County. There maybe a prison record for Frank also. The parents of these people were a Frank L. and an Alma E. Knapp. Her maiden name is unknown at this time. This is what was found on the 1930 census records, it is a lead I hope a good one. TINA If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried.

If you can find where Pottawatomie and Seminole counties meet, look middle way in between them. Or take I-40 to 99 then to 59. That maybe Highway 99 and highway 59 not sure of how they say it. Or find Shawnee, and look down about 1/2 an inch and you should see Maud. Yes, it is still there not very big but there. TINA If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried.
