Hello list, I have a picture of my Husbands Gr. Grandfather Koch, Frederick John Koch, picture taken Oct. 1913, He has a vest on with fringe around the front and large white stars down both sides. On the lapel of his suit jacket there are three bars , a cross and a (looks like) medal star with ring around it. As far as we know he wasn't in any military service, or sheriff either. Does anyone know of a lodge with this kind of apparel? Any hints are welcome.. Lois Burdick
