I hope I didn't sound too ungratful for the work you do! I know of some places that charge $25 to $35 for copies of documents. Yes you have done FREE look ups for me too .... I remember your name! I agree it would cost us our jobs to do nothing but LOOK UPS. Where was my head when I wrote that to the LIST. I really was just trying to say the Ponca City library had a good line too. For lookups that I have information at home, Enid Cemetery Books,tax records etc. BUT, the cost of printing and look up time is something I don't have an abundance of. The fee we charge helps to build up our material to make our Library a better place to research. If we didn't charge a fee for research we would have to quite our jobs and do nothing else.
