Hi Lois The information I have is, My mother was adopted by Irene Finkerbinder & Elmer L. Smith. In some places Elmer is listed as Louis Elmer so not sure which is correct. Death cert is Louis Elmer. My mother name after the adoption was Mable Leah Smith. Her birth mother was Mable Thomas and birth father was Albert Cody. Not sure if they were married. Mother was born Feb 7 1909 in Lahoma ,OK. (this is the date her birth was celebrated on) This is about all the information I have before her adoption. Her name may have been Burnice, Blanch or Beatric. Tried to get birth cert, was told the court house in Enid had burned. Don''t know where else to look. Thanks for your help sure will appericate anything you can help me with. Rich G
