I can remember seeing Junior Duncan box two or three times at functions held in Garber, OK. This was in the late 1930's. As I recall, he won the Golden Gloves award for his weight at least once at Enid, OK. I was four years younger than Junior when this was going on. One thing I remember about his boxing style; he always boxed with his right arm fully extended to the back, ready for a long swing at his opponent. He was so good at it that several younger and upcoming boxers imitated his style. Bob See >> Do you know where the records are of the "Golden Gloves" fights are? My Uncle Raymond Claud Hair was in them about the time you are talking about I believe. Email me at jrrowan@aol.com if you know of them. thank you Jan Rowan
