Mary Ann, I can't give you very much but will try. I grew up in that oil field about 1 1/2 miles NW of the school. However, I never attended the school nor did I ever travel on the road to it. I caught a school bus and attended the Garber school system. Some friends of mine who attended the Sinclair school there in the field may be able to answer your questions. You should be able to reach them by email at this address: Clyde & Mary English, w5ptm1@juno.com I do not remember the location of the cemetery at Covington but you could find it in five minutes just driving through town.... it is a very small town. You could get off of I-35 at the Enid ramp. About half way to Enid you will turn south on old highway 74 for ~6 miles and you will be in Covington. Just one and a half miles south of where you turn onto 74, if you went one mile east and one mile south, the old Sinclair school is in that area. But Mary and Clyde English could give you more precise directions. I do not know if the school is still standing or not. Good luck with your search.
