Hi, I work at the local V. A. Medical Center here in Boise, Id. I see first hand how it has taken its toll on the vets. At this point we still have a one WW I vet. He is 104 years old! He is frail but still able to function on a limited amount. We very seldom see a Korean Vet. Mostly WW II and Viet Nam. By working the night shift I have time to talk to them when they have trouble sleeping. It does not seem to matter wheather they are Generals or Privates-----they still have memories of the wars that they have to deal with. I have been luck to know a lot of interesting veterans. We owe our vets a lot! It takes a strong person to have the ability to do some of the "special" missions that was required of them. Thank You Vets! Marian Alvis Boise, Id.
