Dear Lois, Sorry for the error it was a typo. Matilda Elizabeth Pinkerton appears in the 1900 census as you said. She was not in the 1910 census for Oklahoma. I am wondering if she could be buried in a surrounding county? I do not think she went back to Kansas. There was nothing for her to go back to. Maybe she went with Mr. Nelson? My g grandfather Charles was married in1897. I have a copy of the marriage liscence where she signed for him to be married. He took over her claim to farm from the land rush after they were married. I have a copy of the obit for Charles Pinkerton but do not have one for Edna who died in 1955. I can still remember her. I think I was 8 when she died. Any and all help appreciated.
