Hi I am looking for James B Martin b in Jasper Co MO in 1846 to Hartwell MARTIN and his wife Sarah. By 1860 the familiy had moved to Bourbon Co ks. 14 April 1875 James married Lucy CRAIN. Lucy was his brother's sister's wife, making her not only my aunt my marriage, but also by blood. Lucy was born in Washington CO IL in 1852. The couple was married in Oswego, Labette Co KS. Lucy's parents were Lewis Wesley CRAIN and Sally COX. Sometime before the turn of the century, they moved on to Depew, Creek Co OK. The couple appear in the 1910 Census living on Ready Avenue. The census say's Lucy was the mother of 6 children with only two surviving. James operated a saw mill in Depew. This was a second marriage for both of them. Jame's first will Mary B ALLOWAY was declared insane and he divorced her.
