Bob, The book, DRUMRIGHT! The Glory Days of a Boom Town, by D. Earl Newsom, Evans Publications, Inc., Perkins, OK 74059, copyright 1985, pages 110-112, discusses the missing minister. He was the assistant pastor of the Baptist Church. His clothes were found near where a new bridge was constructed four miles north of Drumright. People think that his body is in the concrete of the bridge. Some people thought that the killer or killers were really looking for the head minister because he had given sermons critical of the Klu Klux Klan. The head minister, Reverend Lackey called Reverend Montelius' disappearance an assassination.
