The Ellis' I'm researching right now is Viana Ellis who married Will Leverett in or around St. Jo, Montague Co., Texas. I found a Viana Ellis (age 12) in the 1880 Census of Montague Co. Parents were Sarah A. and William J. Ellis both born in Missouri. I believe Viana is buried in Bristow City Cemetery and was interred on 26-Aug-1935. (I found her listed in the cemetery records but I haven't found the tombstone yet.)
