I have been reading with great interest all the e-mails on the oil photos and the comments on the oil companies. My husband was born and raised in Sapulpa and his father was a lawyer there for over 50 years. If anyone comes up with oil company lists of the workers I am looking for any information on Samuel K. Jennings and John McGinnett Jennings who came at the turn of the century from Ohio and Pa. to work in the Ok.oil fields. I believe they were in the Keifer area. Samuel was involved with Drake in drilling the first well in the country in Titusville, Pa. Thanks for all the interesting postings on these early adventures of the oil people.
