    3. Bob, Thanks for the reply. I don't guess your murder mysteries would have anything to do with mine. Mine is my g-gpa (I never knew him) He was found murder (executed is what my g-ma says) in a field. ---- The time frame had to be about Dec. 1932-July 1933 (possibly a few months after July.) My g-ma's d-day is July 13th and he was supposedly killed before she was ever born) He was either married to (or had an affair with) my g-gma Lucy Lillian McGUFFIN. My g-ma never knew about him until she was in her 20's. She has a mixed up version of what happened.....there are a couple of different stories. One is that he was killed because he was married with children and was taking advantage of my g-gma, who was much younger than him (She would have been about 21) Another story is that he wasn't killed at all, and was actually a doctor in Tulsa. My grandma said that the names she was given (apparently the relative couldn't make up their mind) was Orby YORK or possibly the last name RHINEHOLD...RHINEHEART....or something like that. My g-ma has a VERY fair complextion, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Her mother was VERY Cherokee...Blue/Black hair, dark eyes, etc... so we assume that my g-ma took her looks from her dads side of the family.... only we don't know who that is. My grandma's first name is Letha....after doing research for 10 years, I now realize that's not such an uncommon name for the time. Darn! =o) My g-gma, Lucy, married Alvin GOWER about 1933-34...their first child, together, was born in Dec. 1934. They went on to have 7 children in all, including my g-ma. Grandma has always said something about her mother being indentured to Alvin..... but we never knew why. Thanks! Tracey Gregory [email protected]
