Bob, I will have to read Newsome's book. We have unsolved mysteries in CA all the time. The most recent is the disappearance of Christine Williams of Fort Ord. That is only about 45 miles from here. In fact,we were over by there today. She was abducted off the Fort while walking her dog. She has been gone for 3-4 months. Yesterday, they said something about her parents are beginning to give up hope. I don't know how true that is...I saw them at the Garlic Festival and they were pretty upbeat then but it had only been a couple of weeks when she disappeared. Thanks for the informtion. Marcia
